Get the code and browser
Since the 1 june 2016, the SURFEX code is freely available (Open-SURFEX) using a CECILL-C Licence (a French equivalent to the L-GPL licence), excepted for:
- the GAUSSIAN grid
- the LFI and FA I/O formats
- the dr HOOK tool
It’s also possible to get the ECOCLIMAP database only.
Since the 30 june 2014, the database is freely available (Open-ECOCLIMAP) using a CECILL-C Licence (a French equivalent to the L-GPL licence).
Until 2017, the versions of the Surfex code were managed by the Subversion (SVN) tool.
From 2017, we use GIT.

From 7.2, a new browser is available built with Doxygen software.
