WELCOME

Welcome to Toulouse ALADIN team. Now your schedule has been fixed, you've booked your flight, for your first stay, send a mail to Jean with all relevant information, arrival date and hour, flight company and flight number. If you want someone to pick you up at the airport send a mail to Jean. Jean also needs a picture of your pretty self and a C.V.to complete the paraphernalia.

Cards and keys
Your office is named POINCARE (ex SCEM) but your administrative
address is the CNRM .
You have been given (hopefully) a blank badge which gives you acces
to POINCARE only and a key to your office in.
You have been given (hopefully again) another key for your room
(usually in Résidence B, 2d floor) at the French
Meteorological School.
A SODEHXO card otherwise known as Cantine card which you have to
credit with euros. This card gives you access to the CNRM and the
Médiathèque. Opening hours to the CNRM are working
hours, whereas you can go to the Médiathèque whenever
you wish.
PAPERWORK
Please fill in
the paper called « Confirmation
d'hébergement » which you be returned
directely to the keeper of the Résidence or to the Secretary
of GMAP.
MONEY
If you are invited by Météo-France, you will receive
money after a visit to E.G.I.D.E.
(new name for CIES) with your passport and the « Attestation
de Stage ».
If you are invited by D2I, you will also receive money after
visiting E.G.I.D.E.
(with also passport and « Attestation de Stage »).
If you benefit
from Embassy support (MAE), you will receive cash money by the SMF
representative in Toulouse (Nathalie Cochon); please, don't forget
to sign the SMF receipt and to verify
the amount given to you.
If you are not
officially invited, that's too bad and there is nothing I can do for
you !... Well ....
E-mail address
During your stay you can use : first name.name++at++cnrm.meteo.fr as
an e-mail address.
Please check with Eric Escalière where is the correspondent
mailbox (on your user on andante, or more probably, on your user on
one of GMAP workstation).
Your address first name.name++at++cnrm.meteo.fr has been added to
the e-mail list : stagmap++at++meteo.fr (if not, please complain
firmly but kindly, to Eric Escalière). You can use the
stagmap++at++meteo.fr address to send a message to all "stagiaires"
presently in GMAP.
