The ALADIN Meetings

Several opportunities are given to the ALADIN team to meet :

• the Assembly of Partners with main tasks to verify the correct application of the Memorandum of Understanding, to review past actions since the previous assembly, to discuss the research objectives of the project, to register and to monitor the manpower commitments of all partners for the realisation of these objectives and to maintain a consensus on the main issues related to the project;

• the ALADIN Workshops;

• the AWOC meetings and other code or data processing oriented meetings with discussions about portability of ALADIN code on different platforms or problems linked to operational implementations;

• the training courses that allow a group of newcomers to be trained on ALADIN model or allow a more specific training of ALADINers to special topics, On-line training courses are available for some subjects.

• informal ALADIN meetings are often organised besides the annual EWGLAM & SRNWP meetings.

• ALADIN countries also organised or attend the workshops of the SRNWP Lead Centers.
