General outline of the ALADIN workshop:

Monday morning we will start with a plenary session together with HIRLAM, with presentations of common or special interest. Monday afternoon and Tuesday will be spent in thematic (cross-consortium) sessions. On Wednesday, the consortia each have their own programme and discussion sessions (climate and Nowcasting issues are intended to be under TS6, at least for presentations having little or no link with other issues). Thursday morning is again a plenary session, in which the outcome of the thematic sessions is reported and discussed. See the provisional figure for the envisaged structure of the meeting; some adjustments to this may still be made, depending on the available oral and poster contributions.

There will be some room available for side meetings throughout the meeting. As was done last year, people presenting posters will be given a brief opportunity to present them to the audience.

Registration and notification of scientific presentations and posters:

People wishing to participate to the ALADIN workshop are requested to fill out the registration form and return it to Patricia by email. In the case that you are not able to attend the whole meeting, please indicate during which days you intend to be present. Please also indicate if you wish to give a presentation or present a poster. If that is the case, you are requested to supply a (provisional) title.

The deadline for registration is 15 March. Selected speakers will be notified at 26 March at the latest. A draft programme will be sent to all participants around that time and posted on HexNet and the ALADIN website.
