Verification of ALADIN against observations in Météo-France : altitude parameters

Observation compared to a bilinear interpolation of the model forecast to the observation position

Radiosondes are used.

Bias, standard deviation and RMSE for :
geopotential,
temperature,
relative humidity,
wind (u,v,force,vectorial approach).

Vertical levels (hPa): 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 700, 850, 925, 1000)

Statistics averaged over France in routine 
(up to now, model and observation values are not kept)
