Proposal of the working group Verification
(12th ALADIN Workshop, Medulin, June 2002)
No change in the list of correspondents for verification (verifala)
The proposal of Budapest working group is accepted
pay attention to the forecast sent to the centralized data base (not in
"real time" but after the validity of the forecasts - for security problems)
and to the files in entry of FILTER
a prototype of "schema" will be prepared with
all parts but :
the centralized data base will be in Slovenia
only 2 centers (France and Slovenia) volunteer to participate to the prototype
a few scores only will be available
the prototype will be shown to the Assembly of Partners in October 2002
in Bucarest for decision to go on or not.
the tools developed for this centralized control could be available for
local use (this could be an alternative solution of the centralized one
failed)
A call for volunteers to participate to the developments of the necessary
softwares was rather unsuccessfull and mainly everything will depend on
slovenian team
Neva and Jean-Daniel will develop FILTER
Some help from Samuel for the centralized database design
(at least the description of the database used in Météo-France/COMPAS
to control the ARPEGE and ALADIN models) ?
Jure and Neva will be mainly in charge of the prototype database, SCORES
software and Web interface.
