The CERSAT

for ERS data. CERSAT is the acronym for "Centre ERS d'Archivage et de traitement", the French Processing and Archiving Facility for ERS-1 and ERS-2.
The CERSAT has the responsability of the archiving, off-line processing, and distributing products of so-called "Low Bit Rate" instruments of ERS satellites : the Radar Altimeter, the Microwave Sounder and the Active Microwave Instrument as a Scatterometer and a SAR in wave mode. Data available on CD ROM or Exabyte, are distributed world-wide, mainly to the scientific community.
