Transporation
- Getting from the Airport to Meteo-France
Two man options exist: a taxi (about 15 minutes, but possibly as much as 30 euros), or the
airport shuttle bus (around 5 euros). This bus leaves the airport every 20 minutes (from 5am to a quarter past midnight),
and takes about 20 minutes to reach
the Metro stop Jean Jaures in the center of downtown Toulouse (depending on traffic/time of day).
Here you take line A to Basso Cambo (see below).
- Getting from downtown Toulouse to Meteo-France
From downtown, you take Meteo line A to Basso Cambo
(the end of the metro line, about 15 to 20 minutes). You can purchase a ticket at the Metro station: one ticket
is good for both the metro and bus (one-way), and it costs about 1.40 euros.
From there, you need to take
the number 8 bus
(about a 10 minute ride to Meteo-France, with buses
roughly every 10 to 15 minutes until 8 pm).
Alternately, it is about a 20 minute walk from Basso-Cambo to Meteo-France.
- Getting from the Train Station to Meteo-France
At the train station (Toulouse-Matabiau), take the underground passage to the metro (Marengo SNCF metro stop). Take line A
to Basso Cambo (see above).
Lodging
The Meteopole is located on the outskirts of Toulouse, but there are frequent buses and metro connections
from downtown (about 15 minutes on the metro, then about a 10 minute bus ride, with a bus roughly every 10 to 15 minutes).
A listing of recommended hotels is provided.
