Crocus - validation

 Evaluation initiale

Les évaluations les plus directes du modèle de neige Crocus sont réalisées sur des sites bien instrumentés permettant de minimiser les erreurs liées au forçage météorologique. Aussi, le modèle a été initialement évalué au site du Col de Porte, au moment des développements initiaux du modèle. L’évaluation porte tant sur la bonne représentation de variables intégrées (hauteur de neige, équivalent en eau, albédo de surface, température de surface, écoulement basal) que les variables internes (profils de température, de masse volumique, de teneur en eau liquide, de types de grains ...).
