  • Quality Control Processing

  • The real time quality control processing, as recommended by The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), was applied on operational data received at Météo-France (in Toulouse, France) from the Global Telecommunication System (GTS) and provides quality control flags on several parameters. Real time quality control procedures are explained in the quality control procedures handbook (last update: 13 Mar,1997)

  • Data format

Data provided in ASCII files, 1 file for each sounding including site, position, time, pressure, geopotentiel height, temperature, dew-point temperature, wind direction and speed and quality flags.
