  • Quality Control Processing

  • Real time quality control processing as recommended by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), was automatically applied on operational data received at Meteo-France (in Toulouse, France) from the Global Telecommunication System (GTS). These checks provide a quick and consistent test on every observation and offer in the FCA two different types of flags: a flag on the observation, which qualifies the whole quality of the observation, and two flags, on latitude and longitude. Real time quality control procedures are explained in the quality control procedures handbook .
