The LaTeX2HTML translator appears to be a quite efficient tool and allows to obtain a satisfactory HTML version of scientific/technical documents without large efforts. The main points to obtain a satisfactory HTML documents from an existing LaTeX document are the following:
\ref
by \hyperref
from places to places.
\pageref
and \htmlref
command combinations.
xv
, and add a conditional
command to implement the GIF image in the HTML document
and this is enough! A clean HTML document can then be obtained very rapidly.
